Cast On Baby!

I just saw this on YouTube, and I gotta say, it completely made my day! Theses folks look like they'd be a BLAST to hang out and knit with. Enjoy!

About Me

My name is Tara and I am an avid knitter, spinner and dyer. I have an obsession with "Making Stuff"; and so I also like to play with quilting, baking and cooking, decorating, and jewellry making. I collect buttons, vintage linens and kitchenwares, and fabric (as well a pretty healthy yarn and fiber stash).

As a dedicated thing-maker, I attended Lethbridge College, and completed their one year Fashion Design and Merchandising program. My very favorite class was the one on fibre and textiles. I remember wishing to myself that I could find a way to do that for a living.

I was a stay-at-home mom with my two kids until they both went to school. Now I work part-time as an Educational Assistant at the local elementary school, while still chasing my kids and playing with fibre. My hand-dyed fibers are available as Dragonfly Dyewerx.
